Parkfield Dental has looked after South Manchester families for more than four decades and is still an independent, family-run practice rather than a branch of a dental group — a rarity in the Manchester ten. It is wholly private and states plainly that it does not provide NHS treatment. The team is kept deliberately small so that patients stay with the same clinicians year after year, yet broad enough — implants, orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics — to keep almost everything under one roof.

Treatments and services

Routine care covers examinations, hygiene appointments, fillings, gum disease treatment, root canal work and dentures. Cosmetic dentistry runs to crowns, bridges, veneers, whitening and full smile makeovers. Clear aligners are offered in two systems, Invisalign and Spark, the latter made from TruGEN material. Implant dentistry is where the practice goes deepest: from a single implant to a full arch replaced in a day on the All-on-4 and All-on-6 protocols, with the temporary bridge fitted on the day of surgery and the permanent one months later.

Technology and how treatment runs

Implant planning is based on a CBCT scan taken at the practice, and an on-site dental technician builds the temporary bridge for same-day cases, which is what makes a full arch in one visit possible. X-rays and imaging are digital, shown on screen chairside. The surgeries are on the ground floor. Patients are rung the day after treatment, and everyday questions go through a secure WhatsApp line.

The dentists

Principal dentist Neehal Shah trained in Manchester, holds an MSc in Implant Dentistry and personally leads the complex cosmetic cases. Implant placement is led by Arfeen Aslam, a King’s College London graduate with MFDS RCS (Ed). Jagdeep Saimbi holds a postgraduate diploma in prosthodontics and teaches on the Tipton Training course. Muna Hussain is reading for a master’s in endodontics and biomimetic dentistry. Valeriia Vlasenko qualified at Kharkiv National Medical University, passed the Overseas Registration Examination to practise in the UK and is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian; the practice lists her among its Ukrainian-speaking clinicians.
