The founding Kissdental practice in Cheetham Hill

Dr Kailesh Solanki opened Kissdental in Cheetham Hill in December 2005, and it remains the group’s original site, which he leads himself. This is a private practice, with everyday dentistry, cosmetic work and implant surgery under one roof.

Treatments

Examinations, hygiene visits with PROPHYflex air-polishing, crowns, bridges and periodontal care cover the general side. Cosmetic work runs to composite bonding, porcelain veneers, smile makeovers, Enlighten home whitening and internal whitening. Straightening is offered with Invisalign, Six Month Smiles, Inman Aligners and Damon braces, and dentures come in implant-retained and conventional forms.

Complex implant cases

Implantology is the strongest thread here. Dr Solanki has placed well over a thousand implants and works with bone grafting and sinus lifts; practices across Manchester and the Northwest refer implant patients to Kissdental. For people told there is not enough bone in the upper jaw, it places zygomatic implants anchored in the cheekbone, planned from a CT scan and restored with temporary teeth in one procedure. Dr Solanki also works with CEREC chairside restorations and has taught the system to other UK dentists as an ISCD-certified instructor.

The clinical team

More than a dozen dentists and hygienists are listed for Cheetham Hill. Dr Omid Dashtgard covers orthodontics; Dr Alberto Li Greci, a Palermo graduate, handles periodontics, endodontics and prosthetics; Dr Lowri Hannah brings MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Cosmetic cases also go to Dr Khushal Morar and Dr Nabeel Essa. Hygienists Vicci Gallimore and Chloe Tatlock are dually qualified in hygiene and therapy, and several younger dentists came through Dr Solanki’s two-year in-house mentoring programme.
